Coaching Options

Working with a book coach can provide you with numerous benefits. Including, but not limited to:

  • A solid understanding of the writing process.

  • An understanding of the commitment needed to write a book.

  • The satisfaction of having written the book yourself.

  • Promoting and using your book to gain new clients, further your brand, and land speaking engagements.

  • Adding “Author” to your resume.

  • Adding “Author” to your social media platforms.

We have a few options when it comes to coaching:

1) Two Chapters+ - (Duration: 3 months. 8K-11K words.) It may seem odd to write only two chapters, but there is a reason behind it. By going with this option, you get an accountability partner and a taste of what’s really involved when it comes down to writing a book. At the end of our three months together, you’ll have two (sometimes three) chapters. They will be polished, focused, and organized. This is a perfect starting point. From here, many decide they now have the tools to continue on their own.

This is also a great option if you’re looking to write a short book (40 pages or less) or pamphlet.

We deliver two polished chapters for you to use as content for social media posts. It’s also a great resource to share with your marketing team to discuss what advantages having a book may do for your business.

2) Full Book Coaching – (Duration: 10 months. 25K-35K words.) This is the same process as Option 1, with ten months of meetings and coaching.

At the end of ten months, you’ll have a completed manuscript. You are now an “Author” and can use your book’s content for social media posts and adverts. Discuss with your marketing team how to further use your book to brand your business. It’s also an easy and effective way to share with potential clients your why, process, and successes.

3) Full Book Coaching & Editing – (Duration: 12 months. 25K-35K words.) Same as Option 2. However, after your book is complete, it will go through an edit and proofread. The editor will:

  • Correct grammatical errors.

  • Ensure the text flows and sentences are accurate and sensible.

  • Validate the five C’s: clear, correct, concise, complete, and consistent.

  • Make sure there are no unanswered questions.

  • Correct redundancies.

The proofreader double-checks the editor. This gives you a clean book ready for layout and book cover design.
